Pepperwood Georgie Girl

FOR SALE - PEPPERWOOD GEORGIE GIRL

5YR OLD DRUM FILLY

Sire: Brackenhill Joe Boy imp (Gypsy cob)

Dam: Jessica of Pepperwood (Clydesdale)

$9,900.00 inc gst

Georgie Girl was born in December 2012 and is 5 years old. She has matured into a beautiful solid, well-built young horse, who should mature around 14.2-14.3hh. Being a heavy horse Georgie has been quite slow maturing and has not yet been started under saddle but should be ready to start this  year. Georgie is trained to lead, tie up, float and is good to worm, wash, stand for the farrier and loves attention.

Georgie’s sire is our imported Gypsy Cob stallion Brackenhill Joeboy imp (DNA verified son of Alfie of Brackenhill and Tilly of Brackenhill) and her dam is our Clydesdale Mare Pepperwood Jessica.

Georgie’s grandsire “Alfie of Brackenhill” is one of the most admired and sort after gypsy cob stallions in the world. Alfie of Brackenhill has been awarded “Historical stallion” status with the TGCA (Traditional Gypsy Cob Society UK) and is one of only a handful that have been selected for their contribution to the evolution of the gypsy cob breed.

Georgie’s Dam Jessica has abundant silky feather, fantastic movement and correct conformation which she passes to all her foals.

Georgie would do well in the show scene and would make a lovely broodmare for smaller heavy types. Georgie adores attention and would love to be the centre of someone’s life.

Georgie is Registered with AGHS as an Appendix Drum Filly (under 16hh) and also registered with APSB.

Georgie really is a one of a kind for her breed with the rare chestnut colouring almost being bred out of the Clydesdales, she is homozygous red (ee) and homozygous W20 and she has the addition of a gorgeous flaxen mane and tail with grey tones to her eyes. Georgie carries more feather than I have seen on most Drums and it is hard to find a horse of her calibre age, colour and type in Australia.

Georgie can be sold with a stallion service to John Brodie (frozen semen – Conditions apply)

All Purchases from Pepperwood are:

• Microchipped

Pepperwood Donatella iiu

EOI invited- PEPPERWOOD DONATELLA (iiu)

Sire: Clononeen Magnum (UK)

Dam: Clononeen Blossom imp (UK)

$12,000.00 plus gst

We are considering parting with our beautiful mare “Pepperwood Donatella”

At this stage we are only taking EOI as Donatella will only be offered to a NON-BREEDING HOME.

This is a very difficult decision for us and we will not sell her to just anyone. The home will have to be excellent and willing to sign a non-breeding agreement as well as a buy back agreement at a set price, in the event of needing to on-sell.

Donatella is a 6 year old imported Purebred Gypsy Cob mare who stands 13hh and is as wide as she is tall. Dam: Clononeen Blossom imp Sire: Clononeen Magnum UK. Donatella has so much to offer with a cheeky personality, bold character and very loving nature. We would love to see her in either a ridden home or a harness home as we feel that this would suit her very well. We just don’t have the time to prepare her ourselves with 3 others currently in work.

We will ask a very reasonable price for this mare of $12,000.00 plus gst to ensure she gets the opportunity to find a suitable home. Our Buy-back agreement is not negotiable as we do not wish her to be sold, just so someone can then on-sell her for a profit. If no suitable homes are found then she will be retained for a career as a therapy horse
